Many people feel that they can live any kind of way, and still be a truth believer. Absolutely not.

Friends, let us not fool ourselves, because this God, is not like man. He knows all about you and I, our thoughts are all in His hands. He cuts off every branch in us that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He trims clean so that it will even be more fruitful. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

John 15: 2, 4 & 5.

Good morning friends!

I just want to remind you and myself not to be slothful, but rather stand for what we believed.

Diligent effort helped the heroes of faith to inherit the promises of God. Hebrews 6: 11-12 tells us to show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: and that we should not be lazy but rather be imitators of those who through faith and patience inherited the promises. And I like the statement that was made by Bishop Gospel Osei-Tutu, and I quote: There is no promise in the bible for a lazy person whether natural or spiritual except poverty.

Jesus called the lazy, wicked and slothful and demanded that they took the talent from him and give them to the diligent. This is contrary to what the world believes. The world would take from the diligent that has and give it to the lazy that does not have. In all labor, there is profit and Jesus is about productivity (Matthew 25:14-30).

If we are bornagain, and spiritually grown or matured, let us get out there and win souls that are lost. One thing that will help you and I grow, is to see people experience what we have! For those of us who just got bornagain, we can begin by sharing our testimonies and urge people to come to Christ. I believe we will have lot of people turn their lives to Christ. And this will help us to develope, cause we have to be an example to them, and not only that, but we will need to study the Word of God, so as to answer questions they may have or explain things that they may not understand. And  doing that will help you and I greatly. When we are serious to win souls, the Lord will bless us and let His fresh anointing over our lives! The Holy Spirit was given to us so that we will become witnesses (Acts 1:4-8, Luke 24:47-49).

Let us learn to grow and stop been children who lack endurance. Pain is painful and no one enjoys it. However, children because of them not being strong and developed cannot deal with pain as the matured person does. That is why they cry more than the grown ups. Christians who lack endurance or longsuffering are not matured or well grown. We are called among other things to suffer for Christ and until you develope or grow up you will be offended at Him (Philippians 1:28-29).

Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest!
Life is a burden without rest, hence the needs to be relieved of our various burdens.Often times we mistake circumstances around us as burdens, but the truth of the matter remains that most of the unfavourable situations around us are prompted and orchestrated by a burden of Sin . This of all the time past and present remains the Mother of all other burdens. Looking at your situations which you may have given divers nomenclature can only amount to distraction and lost of focus. IF YOU DEAL WITH SIN YOU HAVE DEALT WITH EVERY OTHER CHALLENGES!
HOW do we deal with sin ? This actually is the need for a burden bearer. For the fact that the burden of Sin cannot be thrown away just like that AND THAT IT CANNOT BE BORNE BY HUMAN you really need some one like a Savior at your aid. Therefore it takes deliberate actions of dropping off and conscious casting of burden upon Jesus Christ to be free from sin.

"The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon."
Judges 7:20

Gideon ordered his men to do two things: covering up a torch in an earthen pitcher, he bade them, at an appointed signal, break the pitcher and let the light shine, and then sound with the trumpet, crying, "The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon! the sword of the Lord, and of Gideon!" This is precisely what all Christians must do. First, you must shine; break the pitcher which conceals your light; throw aside the bushel which has been hiding your candle, and shine. Let your light shine before men; let your good works be such, that when men look upon you, they shall know that you have been with Jesus. Then there must be the sound, the blowing of the trumpet. There must be active exertions for the ingathering of sinners by proclaiming Christ crucified. Take the gospel to them; carry it to their door; put it in their way; do not suffer them to escape it; blow the trumpet right against their ears. Remember that the true war-cry of the Church is Gideon's watchword, "The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon!" God must do it, it is his own work. But we are not to be idle; instrumentality is to be used-"The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon!" If we only cry, "The sword of the Lord!" we shall be guilty of an idle presumption; and if we shout, "The sword of Gideon!" alone, we shall manifest idolatrous reliance on an arm of flesh: we must blend the two in practical harmony, "The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon!" We can do nothing of ourselves, but we can do everything by the help of our God; let us, therefore, in his name determine to go out personally and serve with our flaming torch of holy example, and with our trumpet tones of earnest declaration and testimony, and God shall be with us, and Midian shall be put to confusion, and the Lord of hosts shall reign for ever and ever.

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over  all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19.

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even geeater things than these, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12.

Dear bornagain believers, the Lord has given us authority over all the power of the enemy.

And just imagine, all of the wonders and powerful work He did, He say to you and I, greater work we will do, if only we believed!

"If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. " John 14:14

There are scriptures upon scriptures that emphasize the relevance of prayer. Scriptures upon scriptures that assure us what God can do when we pray!

Why do we not pray then?  Or do we pray and pray amiss?  If we are really praying, our lives, families, churches and society at large will reflect that!  The presence of God will be evident in our lives, souls will be genuinely saved in our churches, marriages and children grounded in the love of Christ!

"If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. " This is the Lord Jesus speaking!  He is God, unlimited!  VERY CAPABLE!

The major thing that stands out in this promise made by the Lord of lords is ANYTHING IN MY NAME! The Lord will not answer any prayer that is not in His name! Asking in His name means praying according to His word!  Asking in His name means praying according to His will, and His word is His will!

Believers are "praying". But are these prayers in His name?  Are these prayers according to His word and will? Are these prayers not in our own name or the Pastor's name? Are these prayers not rooted in our own desires, emotions and selfish ambitious rather than according to His word? We pray in the name of our emotions!  So instead of asking the Lord to save the Soul of our perceived "enemies " we ask the Lord to kill them. We pray in the name of our selfish ambitions!  So we fast and pray not for abundance of Christ in us, not abundance of His power so we can be effective ministers of the gospel!  We ask for abundance of money and material things so we can show off!  Three days fasting and prayer just so you can have a "breakthrough " in your finances not your spiritual life! No fasting and praying for lost Souls!

When you go to some churches, you can see Believers really "praying " from their head to toe!  Maybe, that is all there is to our prayer life! Public prayer, making a show, no personal private one on one time with Christ!

"Public prayers" have its time and place! But I'll rather call it corporate prayers not public prayers!  Corporate prayer is the type that took place in the upper room!  Believers hand in hand praying for the outpouring of the power of God through the Holy Spirit!  Praying according to the Word of God!  Insisting on the kingdom to come!  This is corporate prayer! And this prayer is very effective!  Believers praying in one accord for God to pour Himself out through His Spirit! Praying for lost Souls!  Praying for revival!  This is the lost art of the Church: Corporate prayers! The upper room kind of prayers!

I write this to challenge our hearts to action!  I am personally seeking for genuine believers who have the willingness to pray for others salvation, healing and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our generation! The Internet has made things easy for us to pray corporately without being in the same room!

If you are interested in this let me know!

Good morning bornagain believers!

Do you know that Jesus left unfinished work that we need to complete before He come back again?

Please turn to the book of Matthew 9:35-38.

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching all the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field."

" Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." 1 Corinthians 3:16-17

Do you not know that you are the temple of God? There are  two answers to this question: yes, I know that I am the temple of God or no, I didn't know that I am the temple of God. So what is your answer?

And then a follow up question, do you not know that the Spirit of God dwells in you?  Again it's a YES I KNOW OR NO I DIDN'T, answer. What is your answer?  Is it, YES I know the Spirit of God dwells in me or NO, I didn't know that the Spirit of God dwell in me?

If your answer is, yes I know, what have you done with what you know? It's one thing to know something and it's another to live in the reality of what you know. Are you living as the temple of God?  Are you living as someone in whom the Spirit of God dwells?

A temple is a building used primarily for worship! Its primary purpose is to serve as a place of worship! It's a place dedicated for worship!

For example, the temple Solomon built was designed from foundation to roof with none other purpose but as a place of habitation for the Lord!  Nothing else but as a place to worship the only true God!  Everything about the temple from the outside to the inside depicts its purpose: as a place of worship!  God's property!  The temple belongs to God!  The temple is God's property from the inside out!

You are God's temple!  You are meant for worship!  You are supposed to be God's habitation!  You are God's property!  Are you living as one?

God's temple is not for every use!  It is for holy use only!  You don't take dirty and unholy things to the temple, if you have the fear of God!

The temple can be defiled! It can be defiled through sin!  It can be defiled through unholy sacrifice! It can be defiled through abomination! Be very careful therefore how you live as the temple of God, for if you mess around, God will let you be destroyed like the temple in Jerusalem! If you defile God's temple, you will become vulnerable to the attack of the enemy! The Lord will leave you and you will become like every other building!

The Spirit of God dwells in you! The Spirit of holiness!  The Spirit of power!  The Spirit of Wisdom!  The Spirit of knowledge!  The Spirit of Understanding!  The Spirit of the Fear of God!  Alleluia!  Do you know all these?  Or you have been ignorant of these?

Go forth and live as God's temple! For there is no better honor than this!
