God throughout the historical time has ever sought for a MAN and not MEN. Ezekiel 22:30.
This search is deliberate and serious if we look at it from His points of view. God is a God of focus, serious minded and passionate about whom He can trust His divine Ageda. He would not want this trust to be traded cheaply with any other seeming reality of life!

He is therefore in search of a man through whom He can pour the drops of His blessing if he must bless men.
GOD IS LOOKING FOR A MAN OF SINGLE-HEARTED DEVOTION, DEDICATION, FAITHFUL MEN AND WOMEN WHOSE SOUL IS SOLD TO NOTHING BUT HIM! Only with these category can God work through to ensure our generation is filled with His presence as the water cover the sea.

First, to all the members of BORNAGAIN UNIVERSE? Then to those who claim to be children of God, going to church every Sunday, bible study, singing for the Lord and the rest of it. Are we really doing this for Him? Or for our own motives? And are we the new creatures that He wants us to be? Because 2 Cor. 5:17 tells us, therefore if any man be in Christ,  he is a new creature...

Jesus is coming soon friends. This is no more time to pretend. Let us be serious with the Lord! He loved us so much, that He allowed His Son to die for us.

If you are not sure, seek Him now, because He is coming back again with Power!

DEUT . 6:20-25
20 “When your son asks you in time to come, ‘What is the meaning of the testimonies and the statutes and the rules that the Lord our God has commanded you?’ 21 then you shall say to your son, ‘We were Pharaoh's slaves in Egypt. And the
Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
22 And the Lord showed signs and wonders, great and grievous, against Egypt and against Pharaoh and all his household, before our eyes.
23 And he brought us out from there, that he might bring us in and give us the land that he swore to give to our fathers. 24 And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day. 25
And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the
Lord our God, as he has commanded us.’

Having no story to tell about the Lord's working in our lives is an indication that nothing actually is taking place in us. As far as growth is concerned, We should all come to a point we can tell people I was once a child but I'm grown.

We were once babes in the kingdom, but Can be a little bit entrusted some talents now. EVERY CHRISTIAN MUST HAVE A TRACK RECORD OF HOW THE LORD HELP HIM  TO ATTAIN MATURITY STATE.

Our relationship with God cannot be sweet until we experience a union with God!
This particular union can be seen as a conjugal encounter with the Holy spirit of God via an unbroken communion!
Our journey with God in the face dangers and trial is meant to be sweet. This sweetness cannot come until we discover the unspeakable underlying benefits of seeking Him daily!
The more of contact with Him the more of His Joy and love that fill our souls. These culminate the sweetness we get in Him.
May the sweet fellowship of the spirit be with us all! (amen).

As a Born-again Christian you are a soldier in the army of God! And as a soldier you are called to serve and defend the cause of Christ and God's kingdom! At the end of the day you are going to carry out this duty faithfully or otherwise!

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. " Ephesians 6:12

The moment you are Born-again, you become an active Soldier in the army of God! As a Soldier, you do well to learn the principles of warfare and apply them. Unfortunately many believers are ignorant of this mandate to the advantage of the enemy, Satan. Hence demons are everywhere wrecking havoc in lives, homes, churches and the society!  Because soldiers in the army of God have failed in engaging them in spiritual warfare!

Demons are on rampage, while we Soldiers in the army of the Lord are "relaxing" in our homes pursuing different endeavors secondary to our calling and mandate!  So thousands of lives die and go to hell, right under our noses. Some friends, neighbors, colleagues even family members, because we have failed to engage the devil and his cohorts spiritually to rescue these souls from him. They become his lawful captive.

"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. " Luke 10:19

We have the authority but we are not using it!  Out of compromise, out of committing a sin and refusing to repent, some have seeded their authority to demons.

They are demons fighting to capture your heart, your children, your spouse, your brothers and sisters, friends etc it is your mandate to engage them because YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY THROUGH CHRIST JESUS! PUT ON YOUR WHOLE ARMOR AND ENGAGE THE DEVIL AND DEMONS ON YOUR KNEES IN PRAYERS!

AS A SOLDIER YOU NEED THE FOLLOWING :

1. GIRD YOUR WAIST WITH TRUTH.

2. PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

3. SHOD YOUR FOOT WITH THE GOSPEL OF PEACE.

4. ABOVE ALL, TAKE THE SHIELD OF FAITH.

5. THE HELMET OF SALVATION.

6. THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT; THE WORD OF GOD.

7. PRAYING ALWAYS WITH ALL PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION IN THE SPIRIT.

8. WATCHFULNESS AND PERSEVERANCE TO THE END.

WITH ALL THESE YOU WILL TRIUMPH AND WIN SOULS TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

THEY WILL ALSO BE FEWER DEMONS FLYING AROUND YOUR TERRITORY IF ANY AT ALL AS YOU BIND AND CAST THEM INTO THE ABYSS BOUND WITH FETHERS OF CHAINS,  RESERVED FOR THE DAY OF JUDGMENT!

ARISE AND FIGHT! ARISE AND DO BATTLE!

Text: Genesis 1:26 -31

Memory verse: Genesis 3:9

"Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you? "

We are created in the image of God! We are created not in the image of cattle, dog or the devil, man was created in the image of the living God. You are created in the image of God!

Man was created for a purpose!  You are created for a purpose! The purpose in the mind of God for creating man is to make man in His image. Why did the Lord create man in His image?  What is the reason behind the Lord creating man in His image?  It is so that man can relate to Him. It is so that man can have a relationship with Him his Maker. When a man looks into the mirror the Lord wants man to see, think, remember the Lord in whose image he is made. The Lord does not want man to think about goat, cattle, lion or the devil when he sees himself in the mirror, that is why he didn't create man in the image of any of these! The Lord created man for the primary purpose of relationship and fellowship!  Every other benefits or purpose stems from this singular purpose of creating man, relationship and fellowship!

"Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. " Genesis 2:19

This verse depicts what was going on between Adam the man in the image of God and the Lord His Maker. The Lord was creating things and taking them to Adam to name!  Not to Angels!  Imagine all the beautiful things the Lord created because of the relationship between Him and Adam, He could trust Adam His image to name all the beautiful things He was creating. Can the Lord trust you? When you work on your relationship with the Lord through Christ Jesus, the Lord can trust you at an individual personal level. When you make the purpose of your Creator your top priority, you will live a glorious life, otherwise, you will eat grass!

" And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. " Genesis 3:8

What a glorious thing to have the Lord visiting you?  What a glorious thing to have His presence with you?  What a life to have the Lord? To hear Him directly not through a medium or third party? This was the life Adam and Eve were enjoying until their priorities changed. Until their pursuit in life changed. Their focus changed, so also their purpose. Priorities, focus and your purpose on daily basis are factors that affect your relationship with the Lord DIRECTLY! What are your daily priorities?  There affect your relationship with the Lord! When sin and disobedience took the driver's seat of Adam and Eve's heart, every thing changed. They could not withstand God's glory and presence. They had to start hiding behind trees away from His presence because priorities have changed. May you not be hiding behind trees away from His presence because of sin.

Sin has no longterm benefit if you sit and reflect on it. Man was not created for sin. Man's allegiance is not to the devil, longterm, allegiance to the devil does not pay because he is not man's creator. As a matter of fact you have something he wants. Something himself has lost.

Prayer: Father restore me to your purpose for my creation, consistent functional relationship with You my Lord and Maker.

Some time we wish we have more than 24 hours in a day. The very moment we wake up till we hit the bed again in the night, it's just one activity to the other. Job to go to, an event to attend, a bill to pay, a deadline to meet, someone to visit, groceries to buy, calls to make, emails to read, meal to cook the list is inexhaustible.

But the truth is, if the Lord decides to give us 30 hours in a day instead of 24 hours, it might not change a thing, our schedule will still be packed full.

"And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. " Luke 10:41-42

It's great to be preoccupied and busy. But we have to be mindful of the one thing the Lord Jesus said is NEEDED!

Martha is a reflection of our lives, very busy but not mindful of the ONE THING THAT IS NEEDED!

We have Jesus in our lives, we have the desire to honor the Lord in all we do but we are not mindful of the ONE THING THE LORD SAID IS NEEDED!

We have a desire like Martha to please the Lord and so we take it upon ourselves to do many things to please Him. But while we are preoccupied with things we want to do to impress the Lord, we forget to understand that the Lord sees just ONE THING as NEEDED!  And hopes that like Mary we will choose to do that ONE THING rather than pursue MANY THINGS THAT ARE NOT NEEDED in our efforts to honor and glorify God in our lives.

When Jesus walked into Martha's house, she welcomed Him into her house but that was it. She got distracted with MANY THINGS. Jesus was in her house but that was it, she had other things to attend to and then probably when she is done taking care of all the many things, she will now settle down and have a quality CHAT with Jesus. But how wrong she was! How awkward to invite the King of kings into your life and then you ignore Him and make other things your priorities!

While Martha was busy with many things, Mary saw an opportunity, how can Jesus be in my house and I will want to be somewhere else or be doing something else without first spending quality time with Him? So Mary "...SAT AT JESUS FEET AND HEARD HIS WORD. " Alleluia!

She could have heard Jesus standing behind the counter BUT NO, SHE CHOSE TO SIT RIGHT AT HIS FEET!

She could have gone about other things, and ask someone else to tell her what Jesus said but No Sir, She SAT RIGHT THERE AT HIS FEET TO HEAR JESUS FOR HERSELF!  SAT IN GOD'S PRESENCE TO SPEND QUALITY TIME IN FELLOWSHIP!

Beloved, take a look at your plans , ONE THING IS NEEDED. Is that one thing in your plans?

Take a look at the list of what you want to do today, is the one thing that is NEEDED in your list?

On daily basis are you doing THE ONE THING THAT IS NEEDED OR DOING THE MANY THINGS THAT IS NOT NEEDED?

MAY THE LORD'S ONE THING THAT IS NEEDED BE OUR ONE THING THAT IS NEEDED: FELLOWSHIP WITH THE LORD IN STUDYING THE WORD AND PRAYING.

This is so so inspiring:
Malachi 3:3 says: 'He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.'
This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.
One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.
That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver.
As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to bur
n away all the impurities.
The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: 'He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver'. She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.
The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.
The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, 'How do you know when the silver is fully refined?'
He smiled at her and answered,'Oh, that's easy --"when I see my image in it!!!'
If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has His eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you!
Pass this good news on right now. This very moment, someone needs to know that God is watching over them.
And, whatever they're going through, they'll be a better person in the end because HE will not leave them in the situation for too long to be destroyed by the fires of this world..

Verse
"Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?"
— eze 15:2
Thought
These words are for the humbling of God's people; they are called God's vine, but what are they by nature more than others? They, by God's goodness, have become fruitful, having been planted in a good soil; the Lord hath trained them upon the walls of the sanctuary, and they bring forth fruit to his glory; but what are they without their God? What are they without the continual influence of the Spirit, begetting fruitfulness in them? O believer, learn to reject pride, seeing that thou hast no ground for it. Whatever thou art, thou hast nothing to make thee proud. The more thou hast, the more thou art in debt to God; and thou shouldst not be proud of that which renders thee a debtor. Consider thine origin; look back to what thou wast. Consider what thou wouldst have been but for divine grace. Look upon thyself as thou art now. Doth not thy conscience reproach thee? Do not thy thousand wanderings stand before thee, and tell thee that thou art unworthy to be called his son? And if he hath made thee anything, art thou not taught thereby that it is grace which hath made thee to differ? Great believer, thou wouldst have been a great sinner if God had not made thee to differ. O thou who art valiant for truth, thou wouldst have been as valiant for error if grace had not laid hold upon thee. Therefore, be not proud, though thou hast a large estate-a wide domain of grace, thou hadst not once a single thing to call thine own except thy sin and misery. Oh! strange infatuation, that thou, who hast borrowed everything, shouldst think of exalting thyself; a poor dependent pensioner upon the bounty of thy Saviour, one who hath a life which dies without fresh streams of life from Jesus, and yet proud! Fie on thee, O silly heart!

The water that flows through your tap for your daily use has a source. In between your tap and the source are pipes that convey the water. Now, the quality of water you get at the tap depends on what is going on at the source or events within the pipes.

God is the source of all eternal blessings and His disciples are the pipes that convey these blessings to the end users (people) . The Lord is holy and pure, so what comes from God as the source is pure, life changing and life giving. The Lord requires of us His disciples, the conveyor of His grace and blessings to be pure and holy if not for our sake atleast for the sake of the end users, for we know what a corroded and compromised pipe can do to the water regardless of it's purity and quality at the source. The health of the end users is at risk when the pipe is comprised.

"but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16
