So much I've got to tell of my saviour whose Grace found me out of the Miry clay.
I have found in Him a dwelling so secure and sure. I ran into Him several years ago and trust to continually abide as He keeps me closer still.
He is that friend that feel so concerned about every bit of issues that bothers my heart. He knows and understand my anxious tendencies and filled me with hopes that culminates my courage to be still in the face of great tempest.
I grew up in loving background the kind that is earth-bound. But meeting Christ gave me a better and deeper sense of Love. His affections are real and worth embracing.

1) *A need to be focused and stay within the boundary of your calling.*
Luke 12:14; *"And He said unto him, man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?*
John 1:19-27; *"And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. And they asked him, what then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. Then said they unto him, who art thou? That we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias ... John answered them, saying I baptize with water: but there standeth One among you, Whom ye know not; He it is, Who coming after me is preferred before me, Whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose."*
Read also 1Corinthians 1:14-17.
2) *Set your time and be conscious of it*
Nehemiah 2:6; *"And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him), for how long shall thy journey be? And when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time."*
John 9:4; *"I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work."*
Read also Nehemiah 6:15 and John 4:35
- Every man has a limited time for God's purpose for their lives.
3) *Plan and know your priorities before your time is up.*
John 4:34; *"Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work."*
4) *Be selfless in pursuing your purpose.*
- If you are not selfless, you will not be able to finish.
1Samuel 12:3; *"Behold, here I am: witness against me before the Lord, and before His anointed: whose ox have I taken? Or whose ass have I taken? Or whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? And I will restore it you."*
2Corinthians 7:2; *"Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man."*
Read also Numbers 16:15 and Acts 20:33-35.
- You must not look at the people you are serving for your substance. *The just shall live by faith*
- When God gives you an assignment to do, He has already made provisions for you.
- Every man who will finish, must discover this secret. No man can serve two masters; you cannot serve God and money.
- You must learn to look up to heaven.
- You must not exert energy on what to eat, drink, wear, etc. (Matt. 6:31-34).
5) *Be ready to fight and conquer all trials, tribulations and oppositions.*
2Timothy 3:10-12; *"But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."*
Read also Philippians 3:12-16 and Hebrews 12:2.
- The purpose of God is a war front, so you must make up your mind to conquer.
- You must imbibe the spirit of endurance.
6) *Be determined to finish*
Ecclesiastes 9:10; *"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."*
2Timothy 4:7-8; *"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing."*

- They were all determined.
- Everything, gifts, that God gave man was not for commercialisation but for to serve God freely.
- *Only you can discover God's purpose for your life*. Any prophecy or Minister telling you about it, is only to confirm to you the purpose.
- Your purpose is usually hidden from every other person, so no man can truly lecture you on God's purpose for your life.
*CONSEQUENCES/PUNISHMENT FOR MISSING OUT OF GOD'S PURPOSE*
- God does not do anything aimlessly.
- For God to redeem us, there is something tangible He wants to do with our lives.
- Nobody actually knows exactly what will happen on the day of judgement.
- There is a reward for fulfilling God's purpose and also punishment for not fulfilling it.
*For those who do not know anything about the purpose of God for their lives, and did not bother to find out:*
Ephesians 5:17 (AMP); *"Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is."*
- If you are born again and you did not try to find out God's purpose for which God saved you, the Bible classifies you as a fool and will be given the judgement of fools.
Luke 12:47; *"And that servant, which knew his Lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to His will, shall be beaten with many stripes."*
James 4:17; *"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."*
Read also Jeremiah 33:3 and Mark 10:20-25.
- Those who know God's purpose but did not do it, giving excuses, there is also judgement waiting for them.
- Those who knew the will of God for their lives, and were willing to do it, but got distracted, will also face judgement.
Luke 9:57-62; *" ... And another also said, Lord, I will follow Thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."*
There are people who have started the purpose of God for their lives but got diverted into other things.
Example is an Evangelist, who instead of going from place to place to win souls, settled down for the work of a Pastor.
- We should please remain where God has put us and do not via into other areas, because there are consequences for deviating.
*Those who started but stopped half way e.g, Joshua and Elijah.*
- If you do not understand the dynamics of your purpose, you are likely not to finish.
Joshua 13:1; *"Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed."*
*Consequences For Not Finishing Your Purpose*

- You would have wasted God's investment upon your life.
- You would have denied your beneficiaries the blessings of God for their lives and there is a punishment for that.

- If you are not in God's purpose, you will experience a life of difficulties all through your life time. The blessings of God will elude you because you are in the wrong place.
Deuteronomy 28:15-End; *"But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord Thy God, ... Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field. Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store. ... "*
- Not Finishing well will create difficulties for those who are supposed to take over from you
Judges 2:6-13; *" ... And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord died, being an hundred and ten years old. And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnath-heres, in the mount of Ephraim, on the north side of the hill Gaash. And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the Lord, nor yet the works which He had done for Israel. And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and served Baalim: ... "*
- If you did not end well, you may likely face the wrath of God.
1Samuel 15:22-23; *"And Samuel said, hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, He hath also rejected thee from being king."*
- The person may not have a portion in the kingdom of heaven.

1) *Those who finished half way.*
1Corinthians 3:13-15; *"Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."*
2) *Those who finished but finished poorly.*
Joshua 19:49-50.
3) *Those who finished well and finished strong.*
John 17:4-5; *"I have glorified Thee on the earth: I have finished the work which Thou gavest Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Thou Me with Thine Own Self with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was."*

- *The purpose of God comes in stages, so God will keep moving you from one stage to another as you grow spiritually* .
Prayer points:
- Lord I will not waste your investment in my life
-Lord may I not deprive those who are suppose to be beneficiaries of your grace upon life due to negligence and insensitivity to your will
-May I not fulfill halfway in the name of Jesus Christ.

Main Texts:
Isaiah 14:24-27: *"... For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart Him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?"*
Job 33:11: *"He fastens my feet in shackles; He keeps close watch on all my paths."*
*What is God's Purpose?*
God's purpose is also known as God's will, God's agenda or programme, God's intention, God's desire or what God wants to see in a particular matter. It also means God's determined counsel.
God's purpose/will is the reason for which God is doing anything He is doing.
At my personal life, God's purpose is God's mission/calling/assignment for my life.
For anything God does, there is a reason.
God's intention for mankind is Genesis 1:26-28:
*"... Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish,... and over every living creature..."*
Every man ought to be fruitful and useful to God.
The Big Question is *Am I useful and fruitful to God?*
The purpose God created planet Earth is found in Matthew 6:9-10;
*" ... Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."*
The kingdom of God, according to Romans 14:17 is
*"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,"*
Therefore, the purpose of God here on earth is to establish righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Anything done outside God's purpose is not correct.
Man is the one God has given the responsibility of ensuring that His will be done here on earth. That is why in Ephesians 5:17, the Bible says, *"Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is."* Anything done outside God's will is foolishness.
In Genesis 1:2, the Bible says; *"Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep,"* and in Genesis 1:3, Bible says, *"And God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light."* Off course, the light here is not the sun, moon and stars, because these were created in verses 6, 7 and 8. The Light here is the Life of Christ as stated in John 1:4-5; *"In Him was Life, and that Life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it."*
The general purpose of God for man was that the man should carry the *Light of life* to shine on the earth *to make sure darkness does not exist anywhere on earth*. But the fall of man brought about the loss of this *Light Life*; the loss of the life of God, the nature of God, the will of God and the purpose of God.
Thank God for *the finished work of Christ* on the cross and His resurrection that brought back total restoration for mankind.
Thus, *The general purpose of God for the redeemed is:*
1. For us to return to the original image and likeness of God, to shine as light in this world and to destroy the works of the devil, making sure darkness does not exist anywhere we are.
Matt. 5:14-16; Eph. 5:8-10; 1Jn. 3:8.
2. That wherever we find ourselves, we are to make sure there is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Rom. 14:17
3) We are to live for Christ and not for ourselves. Whatever we want to do, whether it is who to marry, where to live, type of work etc, we must submit to God for His approval.
2Cor. 5:14-15; Rom. 14:7-9; Gal. 2:20
4. Count the cost on the call of God on your life and see whether you can cope.
Luke 14:25-33; 9:57-62
*When you discover God's purpose for your life, don't just rush into it. You must first of all count the cost so that you will not enter into it and start looking back.*
You must come to the point where you can say, *if I perish, I perish.*
5) Take a Step of Faith.
Hebrews 11:6; *"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."*
Many times the purpose of God looks bleak. God will not entice you with anything.
You must take a step of faith and allow God.
6. Go and Sell all you have and Purchase it.
1Kings 19:19-21; *" ... And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him."*
That was Elisha, when he discovered God's purpose for him, he forsook all and followed the Lord.
Matt. 13:44-46; *" ... Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it."*
*The purpose of God is usually hidden, so you must search for it* and when you find it, you must sell or put aside every other thing and buy it for *"in it, is all the good things of life that God has packaged for you."*

A man without a pastor is a man without pasture and a man without a prophet is a man without profit.
SCRIPTURE: Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13
Â
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A man without a pastor is a man without pasture and a man without a prophet is a man without profit.
Prophetic impartation is the transference of spiritual virtues from a vessel with higher concentration to a vessel of less concentration through the administration of the Power, Principles and Presence of God without diminishing or reduction in quality and quantity of the former. (Luke 8:46).
Genuine Pastors, spiritual fathers and prophets are the channels of Divine prophetic impartation (Numbers 6:23). This is why a man without a pastor is a man without pasture; a man without a father is a man without a ladder; a man without a prophet is a man without profit.
So, a genuine man of God has the capacity to pull out greatness that has hitherto been locked up or that did not exist before in the life of a person. He can bring out some-entities out of nonentities. It is like Moses hitting the rock and water gushing out (Numbers 20:11).
Now, what are the keys to maximizing prophetic impartation?
1. Value for God and His prophet. (2 Chronicles 20:20)
Your sense of value determines the flow of virtue in your direction.
2. Hunger and desperation. (Psalms 81:10)
Nothing guarantees impartation like hunger and desperation for impartation.
3. Connecting via prophetic seed. (Genesis 27:25). Your seed is a link to your blessing.Â
Today, by the prophetic mantle of God on my life, and by my spiritual jurisdiction, I prophesy to you, greatness is coming out of you. Every spiritual impartation you have been hungrily desperate for shall manifest in your life today, in JesusÂ’ Name.
REMEMBER THIS:Â A man without a pastor is a man without pasture and a man without a prophet is a man without profit.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
Â
1. Maybe you do not have a definite pastor or prophet over your life yet, ask God to give you one.
2. Determine to be ruggedly connected to the prophet God has given you for your full profiting in life and destiny.Â
